$500 Customer Cash On Camaro

At least in my region there is $500 customer cash on Camaro for January. It doesn’t show up on Chevy.com though. I was hoping to see a GM card top off bonus this month that until last year came yearly in January, but I guess that’s not gonna happen...

I haven't used a GM Card top off bonus since 2019 and I don't think I have received one in the mail since that one. It was in January 2019.

$500? Wow, how generous of them after raising the prices $1,800 (at least on SS's). Why do they even bother? There is no inventory of Camaro's on dealer lots & they sell as soon as they hit the lot without any incentives.

It matters to the corporate bean counters.
The incentives are almost certainly set through the budget cycle. Once a budget is set, it does not change.
A mid production year price increase is more likely a response to forecast. Forecast is more like a measurement of performance against the line set in the budget.

It looks like the $500 is across the board in all region.

I received the customer cash 500 dollar rebate and the conquest rebate of 750 dollars for owning a 2009 or newer non-gm car.

I received a mailer about the $500 bonus cash with my GM Card points on there as well. Over $1000 potential savings between now and Feb 28, 2023.

Still awaiting dispatch of the Camaro.
