Value in stock exhaust?

I have a stainless works retro chambered exhaust going on my baby and don't really know what to do with the stock exhaust?

Is there a market for selling it?

How much would I expect to get for scrap?

suggestions?....

They are heavy, so maybe a place that buys scrap metal by the pound. I just gave mine away, I dont think they have any value.

I kept mine for the tips. The rest of the exhaust is probably not worth much.

The exhaust can be converted into a huge bong.

I would save it, Throw it in a box in the basement or storage. Someday you might want to sell and having all the stock parts (Even if they are cut off) won't hurt trying to get top dollar. IMO

I've been trying to sell mine & it seems I can't even give them away.
Most likely they will go to scrap, a friend owns a body shop & he held onto a stock exhaust for almost a year thinking when a camaro comes in he can save the owner some money but of the two that came in both owners went w/ a custom exhaust. He finally junked them.
Its ashame a brand new exhaust & you can't give them away. OE cost on the mufflers alone are $900+ , maybe in a few years when mufflers start to go someone will want them if you hang onto them that long.

I cut the tips off and scrapped the rest. I had parts from my 94 Z28, 02 SS, 05 C6 Corvette that couldn't be sold. So, I loaded the parts on my Silverado and took it to the scrap yard. Got $30 for cast iron and stainless steel. Sold all the cats from the 02 SS, 2010 SS and the C6.

Stock exhaust is worth a lot to someone who gets a ticket for muffler delete.

Chucked mine in the garbage...I see whole stock exhaust systems on craigslist for 100-150 so I figured the mufflers werent worth anything, but if you are ever going to sell your car it's good to have all the stock stuff.

Left mine in the scrap heap at the exhaust shop that did the install of my American Thunder system.
