First time Camaro Driver?

I'm only 27, so I haven't had much exposure to them :P

My friend's mom used to drive us to school in her 3rd gen way back in the day, and I loved it. It was blue

I didn't like the look of the early 4th gens with the sunk-in headlights. After they changed them, I was very interested in the SS. I decided I wanted a 2002 Black SS... but then they discontinued them! :( :( :( A couple years alter, I test drove a used one but I didn't take it cuz it had so many miles on it. And damn they were hard to find! But I had bad luck with previous used cars, so I wanted a brand new one. My dream was crushed :(

Then when the 5th gen was unveiled... WOW! I can NOT let this one pass me by! In fact, I don't even like the look of the 4th gen anymore now that I've been spoiled by such eye candy. It's just incredible! And I can't wait!

I have been dreaming about owning a Camaro every since I was a little girl. I can hardly believe that I will finally be getting one!!! Unlike most of you I didn't order mine until Feb and I don't expect delivery before June, but I'm so excited for everyone who should be getting theirs soon. Can wait to see all those pics.

This will be my first Camaro. Never driven one, before either, but I've driven a couple of Firebirds and Mustangs. This'll be my third Chevy, and I can hardly wait to go back.
Never owned a Camaro before because in the 70s, learning to walk, etc; 80s, too young; 90s--too busy with college and couldn't afford one. 2000s--journalism pays squat.
Haven't ordered yet, but when I do, it'll be an LS, Imperial Blue Metallic with silver rally stripes.

High school...owned used 1985 camaro v6 stick
1993 wanted to order Z28 T Top 6 speed, dealer said no can do 6speed with t tops
1994 Ordered Z28, 6 Speed stick t top....waited 9 months, said screw this, bought used one later that year ( I put 19,000 miles on it in 4 months and then sold it, beat the tar out of that poor thing)
OCT 23 2008, ordered my first NEW 2010 SS/RS LS3 RY POLISHED RIMS....I will not cancel or sell this one.... Event code 3000 3/26/09

Also have 69 Z28 real deal matching # 302 DZ I have been restoring for the last 9 years.......shoulg be putting the money in that instead of this but what the heck!!!!!
