It's clearly just regular black.

Not sure if the dealer is just ignorant or trying to mislead intentionally though

I know some of the dealers have them listed at MSRP but are asking 5-10 grand over. I am in the same area as you and know several are over msrp. There are however a lot in the area.

I could only wish they were offered in that color.

I know some of you guys already know this but for the ones that dont: Unless you have seen these cars with your own eyes actually sitting at the dealership, dont count on all of them being there. When I was searching for mine I contacted several dealers from all over the country because they had them listed on autotrader or even on the chevy site. But when I talked to them I got replies like:"we just sold it today" or "It will be here any day now" I got these kind of answers from dealers who actually posted photos of ZL1's sitting on the lot(not just a stock photo)!!! So if youve seen them at the dealer yourself,go get it!! But if you havent, Id call first. Also the price that is listed on the chevy website when you search for a ZL1 is not always the price that they are asking for the car. Its just the MSRP.

I have seen all the cars that I've reported. I believe all them are selling for msrp and a couple places said they would work with me on price. One dealer even offered to honor the prefer pricing for me! To bad I can't afford it :(

This is good advice. In searching for a Z for my wife, I learned that many of the Cars.com and Autotrader ads are actually automated. Most of the cars I followed up on were already sold.

I don't understand how there can be several ZL1s sitting on lots, and there are/were people with cash in hand that could not order one.
