I never used it either. Till I got the shifter.

Now I rarely drive without it. And it will serve me well on the autoX.

Yeah come to think of it, my hand is always down there because I'm so programmed to driving sticks over the years, and because I do like to shift into N at lights to ease the push and let everyone hear the lope. I bet if I had that shifter I'd use it too. But I do really like the idea of the boot and ball manual look.

You don't press a button, you pull back on the shifter and it rocks back and is spring loaded.

Most solid shifter I've seen yet. And I've had a few different shifters.

Like the above post links, just shoot CFD a PM.

Here is the thread on them. He can do a ton of different combos. You will not find a more solid shifter. Heavy and stout these things are awesome.

they dont make them ? also , is that shifter more for the racer kinda driver for the quick tap shift ? what are the benefits

Ya, he makes them himself. To whatever color combo and type you want.

The benefit is so that you don't lose the buttons as you steer in a turn. It's always right there. And you don't have to use two hands all the time on the wheel.
