Exactly, didn't want to make mess or lose the prime on the cylinder... snug fitting rubber stopper plugs did the trick. Am going to car show in morning. Will report back...

Test went well. On the way to car show I took a private road and rowed thru the gears into triple digits. Gear disengagement and engagement was noticeably smoother. I never had any grind before, just had pedal drop to floor on occasion... which is why I have the LPE return spring. Next test will be without the spring, but won't be able to test till next Saturday due to my crazy work schedule.
Based on the improvement I've seen so far, I'd like to thank Jerry for taking the time to develop a product that really makes a big difference. I'll report back next week without using the return spring. Last edited by MJ; 09-23-2012 at 08:17 PM. |
