Down shifting

When i downshift sometimes i get a little break peddle kick back,if the rpms are high. Is that the ABS ?

I have the same thing happen. I believe that once you apply your foot to the brake, both the brakes and the transition are slowing you down. When you downshift you lose the force of the transmit ion slowing you down which causes the brake pedal to do what you are saying.

I also forgot to mention that my car was doing this and now it is in the dealer for transition issues. My dealer thinks that it might be related and it has something to do with the torque converter.

I thought maybe it was the abs just preventing the wheels from locking up. i have the m6

I don't know because now the dealer called me and said my computer is freaking out and giving error codes for the transmission and putting it in limp mode. I hope your problem isn't the beginning of mine.

Do you have auto or manual? Mine happens when i release clutch to slow down quickly by downshifting

Mine is a automatic but I felt exactly what you are saying when I shift Into tap shift mode and downshift.
