....cool! Discretion is the better part of valor. You got to know when to fold 'em, when to hold 'em....back then there was alot less worry.

When the time is right and I've checked all around to make sure I'm clear, sure I'll smoke the tires a bit

...gotta ask yourself,... when you turn your car on, does it do the same thing for you? Use it, or lose it.

I don't burn out much more. Did that a ton in the teens and early 20s. The cost of my Supercar tires make it prohibitive. Plus, in the 80s I blew the rear end out of a 1987 Buick Regal Grand National, snapped the axel on an 1989 Suburban, and even took a 1974 Dodge Monaco drove it up to a tree and floor it until the tire burst. My 1984 Z28 would hookup no sweat 1 to 2 and 2 to 3. Had 3.73s in the rear. That car handled great and I'd floor it through corners and bend it sideways. But with this 2013 Camaro and my old man 45 persona I take 'er easy! :-)

With the price for a set of rear tires, not at all.
