If plasti dip is done on a vehicle that doesn't have a perfect paint job (clear is peeling off) will it be noticeable?

if its really bad to where you can pick of the clear with your fingers, yes it would show and over time could continue to chip under the dip and make it lift. Had it happen on a BMW I did over a year ago. Had to peel the dip and sand it all down then dip back over it. Best bet is to sand it down if it is that bad
