New Flex Broke After 10 min of Use

I bought the new Flex Polish kit from Adam's. I received it yesterday. Washed the car, clayed and began with the new green pad and product. After about 10 min of use the pad and backing plate come flying off. Luckily it didn't damage anything while coming off. See my pic below. Is this Flex toast? Will Adam's replace? I have a section of my wife's tahoe hood covered in green product, is okay to leave on there until i have a working Flex?

The time you spent making this thread could have been spent talking to Ashley so that a new one could be sent to you first thing Monday morning. Now you have to wait until Monday to contact her. Of course Adam will replace it at no cost to you! Haven't you heard about their 110% money back guarantee? There's no trick to it, the warranty is exactly as it says and Adam will honor it with no questions asked. Ashley's number is 866-965-0400. She's on Pacific coast time.

You need to get that product off your hood although you shouldn't have but a small part of the hood covered with that stuff if you were working the right sized area.

According to their website they are not open on Saturdays. I will have to wait till Monday regardless.

Customer Service Hours:

Monday - Friday: 8:00AM – 5:00PM

(Phone Hours are Mountain Standard Time)

This stinks because I had al day Sunday to work on my wife's Tahoe.

Sometimes, Adam is in the warehouse on Saturday morning and will answer the phone if he's there.

Glad to hear we got you handled quickly. For future reference I answer emails at all hours and almost any day if I can. If you have an issue on a weekend feel free to email me:

Dylan@AdamsPolishes.com

I'll get things processed on the weekend or get you help if you need it. Ask any number of members who've gotten email responses from me at 8:30pm on a Sunday night.

How bad is your paint that requires using the green pad anyway?

It was his wife's Tahoe, which presumably might be a few years old and possibly neglected..

It's my wife's black tahoe that has been to the local car wash too many times. The paint was shredded. The flex is working great. Been on it 3 days and only half done

Won't surprise me if you spent two weeks on it. It would take me a month!
