2010 Camaro LS3 vs 2004 Roush Stage 2 Mustang
My car is stock so is my friend's he wants to go to the strip when i get home in a few months what are my chances of beating him, and if there not good what would i need to do to win.

Are you sure it's the stage 2 , If so you will beat him.
Those aren't supercharged. BTW are you a tug boat Capt? I am (Lower Mississippi river mostly) |

I stand corrected his is supercharged. and no im not a tug boat CAPT im a Captain in the Army. though tug boat captain seems like a intersting job.

About the only way I see you winning a supercharged Roush Mustang with your stock LS3 is if both of you are sticks and your friend misses a gear and you do not. You need to up-grade your performance just a little to make it a fair race.

I am willing to bet your LS3 Camaro will beat the 2004 Roush Stage 3 (has to be Stage 3 if it is in fact supercharged), granted his is still a stock stage 3.

Stage 2 = CAI and maybe exhaust for the most part its a visual and handling package, super charger must be an after thought. You should beat it, but again in racing you never know. I think a stock 04 Cobra or even a stock 04 Mach 1 might give you a better race.

The op said it's supercharged. So it's either a Stage 3 or a Stage 2 he put an aftermarket supercharger on.

2004 gt supercharged with an eaton = 360rwhp. he is lighter though. your weight vs 3300lbs. with twin screw 390rwhp max. he is weak probably.

thanks for the imput guys. ive already beat him in the quality part many of times. ive had to jump his car for him and even uses our handy dany air pump to inflate his tires when the air leaked out of them. he dosent baby his car like he should.
