Cant seem to find anyone on the vendors page to sell this item... Does anyone have this in their car now? How do you like it? Where did you buy it from and how much?

The aftermarket comes with 2 uppers. One billet flat with the white ball for the old school look and a stock upper so you can use your factory knob. The only thing you will lack is the Hurst emblem. The aftermarket is also 44% shorter throw compared to the factory Hurst at 25%. You can just put an emblem on your rear deck like this:

Mine came on the car, but I will say that I love it. It def makes a difference. I installed the aftermarket hurst on my 2000 SS and liked the short throw but there was a lot more noise and the knob rattled. With the Hurst factory installed theres no noise.

PM BeckyD @ Rodgers Chevrolet. She may be able to hook you up. They are a vendor on this site, and she is on the member list.

My new car has the factory Hurst shifter. I had installed the Hurst aftermarket in my 2010. The factory shifter in the 2011 does not have the same short throw as the aftermarket but it is sooooo much smother. It is very nice. |

It is available from GM and here is the link about my shifter. I bought it from a GM dealer in Canada. Paid alot of money for it but well worth it.
