Should I drive my Camaro to college?

Just wondering if I should drive my Camaro to the college campus. My parents are worried about it getting vandalized and gave me permission to drive their old Honda Accord to the campus instead.

Ditto...I wouldn't either. Campus parking is usually small so expect a few door dings if you do.

Take the Honda - it's invisible. Your Camaro is a giant target.

Kids these days have no respect for vehicles, doesn't matter who you are.

Take the beater

BUT, before I leave, let me play Devil's Advocate a little. What's the point of buying a car if you're not going to use it, and especially because of fear? What, are you going to live in fear wherever you park?

Enough of Devil's Advocate, I'd take the beater and leave the camaro for weekends. Look at it this way, the car won't get "boring" to youwith everyday driving and you'll look forward to it and appreciate it more.

if you want it to look like a rat rod by the time you graduate, drive it to college.

Take the Honda depending on how close you are to home when your trying to impress a certain someone you go grab the Camaro.

College Campuses barring you don't go out looking for trouble are usually OK. But Dings and dents from Car Doors are a huge possibility there.

I think your parents just want to drive your Camaro. I'm only joking, I might drive it on occasion, but the Honda would be my main college car.

I saved up all my money from working when I was in high school and drove around a crappy 95 dodge neon. Once I graduated I went out and put down quite a bit on a new 07 silverado. And although I had someone back into me freshman year and someone sideswipe me pulling out of their parking space sophmore year I do not regret ever driving my new truck. Unfortunatly because of the world we live in, you are judged on what you wear and what you drive. I say go for it. You'll enjoy it.

It's an LT. Heck, it's a Camaro. It isn't a Ferrari.

Take it....
