Went to my dealer yesterday and found out I'm still at 1100, not a huge deal to me, as much as I'd like my car TODAY i don't mind not having a payment and saving for more of a down payment. My question is, for those that pre ordered and are still at 1100 have you been told (by someone you trust) an approximate time when you're TPW is? I ordered at the end of January and my deal told me sometime between July and August. Does this sound accurate at all? Once again this is from my dealer who barely believes that "they are actually going to start production" and has no idea they are going to get a V6 for show. Yeah they definitely deserve (hey what happened to the "your dealer is an idiot" icon?)

You can do some searching on this site for the full process, but the TPW isn't assigned until the order is pulled into the production cycle, sometime after event code 2000.

I ordered at the end of Oct and am still at 1100 but I think my dealer bumped me.

I don't know what is going on because I ordered Feb 23rd and I got a copy of my latest WB sheet with event code 2000. But there STILL, even right now as we speak, is only 3 orders out of an initial 13. That's counting the one with a VIN allready. Probably because they are requiring alot more of a deposit than all the others in our area.

BTW dbots, find a built vehicle from your dealer and somehow let your dealer know you have the VIN to it. It will make him beleive he can't bump you without you knowing it.

I ordered on 10.14. 2008 and am still at 1100. Perhaps by Christmas???

I ordered Oct 13 and am still at 1100...

My dealer did tell me that they should have my infor TPW/VIN what have you May 1st... Their cars are waiting in line behind the One-Per-Dealer cars.

I think anyone who has ordered months ago and still at 1100 need to call my guy I ordered from. I also ordered back in October and cancelled my order in December when GM started having all their problems, but I went and ordered again March 13th 2009 and I am at 3000 today. Please call him. I orderd 10/15. I'm still at 1100 but my dealer did tell me today that four out of his alloted 11 have been pulled and are at status code "3000". I'm #7 on his list....come on five and six! Getting closer!!

ordered 28 oct 08 still at 1100 but my order was the 4th in by then and I was told that I was next in line. so I am going to move before I get my car but the dealership said they will deliver it to me as soon as they get the car . In due time we will all be driving with all the stresses induced by GM left in the dust with all the mustangs and challegers.

I ordered October 15th and i'm still at 1100. Dealer is estimating mid to late May for my delivery day.

I've waited this long so I can wait a little longer.

I'm still at 1100 and probably will be for a while I'm number 8 of 8 on my dealers list, I think the first 2 have been pulled though.
