Who has successfully ordered a 1LE? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

If you have, what State did you order it in?

I got the call from my Dealer. He said that I could order my 1LE any time now. I got to the Dealer and He checked the constraint list. There were three things on constraint, but none of them effected my order. The ZL1 was on constraint, the navigation system was on constraint, and I can't remember the third item. Everything seemed fine with the order, with the exception of not having any prices yet, then He hit "Submit". The order came back with the message "1LE not available to order". He said that was the first time He has seen an order get kicked back without an item being on constraint. He also said that sometimes there is regional availabilty for new models. So I'm curious. Is the 1LE available in some areas, but not others?

I didn't even know the 1LE was available to order yet.

It's not available to order. I didnt think it would be available til late summer or fall.

I read a thread a couple weeks ago where a guy said he reserved a spot for on.

I thought I saw a person or two who said that their order was accepted. The ZL1 is on constraint, so it kinda makes sense that the 1LE isn't available.

That could be. I didn't want Blue Ray Metallic paint.

Ordering isn't the problem...it will just sit until the option ordered is available.

My order wasn't accepted. We checked the constraint list, and nothing I ordered was on it. However, the ZL1 was on constraint. Perhaps there is a common reason for the ZL1 and the 1LE not being available yet.

It looks like the 1LE is on constraint. See my other post.

If it is, then why isn't it on the constraint list? I was looking at the sales managers computer screen. If it was on constraint, my dealer wouldn't have called me. Oh well, I'll just have to wait a little bit longer.

The first 2013 allocations came out on Thursday May 10.
Ordering constraints.

1. Full size spare
2. Blue Ray Metallic paint (until August)
3. Navigation Radio - startup constraint less than 4 weeks.
4. 1LE track package
5, Beige convertible top.
