Got the call from my dealer...the car arrived yesterday. Went today to check it out...man this thing is gorgeous! Took it for a little test drive and it performs like a strong V-8! Now I see what Scott says about Perma-grin! Also saw a yellow SS getting dealer applied stripes and an orange one at the dealership. Both are sharp colors in person. People are right when they say pictures do not do this car justice.

Salesman saved all paperwork for me, build sheet, delivery receipt, invoice as requested. No dealership logo as requested. Priced at MSRP, Everything as promissed! F & I did her presentatation on extended warranty and tire/wheel coverage, but was not pushy at all like some people have warned about. Bought from Buff Whelan Chevy in Sterling Heights...salesman was John Trotto. (promissed him I would give him a little promo plug there.)

We were presssed for time today and had to get the cashiers check to pay for it, insurance, etc. Picking it up tomorrow evening. Would have pics, but did not have a camera. Will post pics and initial review tomorrow evening. I have Friday off work, going to be 70 degrees outside....time to put some miles on this baby!

Congrats! My Car was built on the same day, so I am hoping by next week I'll have mine.

Wonder when I'll get mine. It was produced 2 days before the OP's... Dealer told me it is 'in transit' but didn't actually give me the Event Code. I eMailed asking if it's showing 4200.
