Chevy's Love It or Return It Guarantee
Would any of you return your Camaro? Chevy runs deep. You've got to wonder why this promise has been so rare among car makers today? |

Most people take the rebate instead. A friend of mine is a salesman, and when this promotion has gone on in the past, every one of his customers took the rebate.
So out of the tiny percent that sign up to be eligible for it, there may be a tiny percent that actually do it.... it's going to wind up a very very small percent of sales. But makes for a nice sounding commercial. |

I work at a dealership and so far we have had everyone take the rebate. Most people are pretty set on making the decision to buy the car so they just want the extra savings. I think I heard the last time they did it only 1 percent signed up for the program instead of rebate and like 14 or something actually returned the car.

I think its a good program. I wish they had it when I got mine. More manufacturers should do this...Hyundai did a 6 month program where if someone lost their job within 6 months of ownership Hyundai would take the car back. It played a big role in their company growth.
