I noticed that too, early in the morning when there is frost on the windshield...I just warm the car up enough to de-frost the windshield and it's ready to go.

That's why "Cold Air" Intakes are so popular... the colder the air going into the engine, the better they like it - though I'm sure there's a low limit on optimum air temp.

Not trying to be a "Donkey", but cold air is much more dense that is why you get a bit mo power.

Colder air = more dense = more oxygen = more power (if you add fuel). I don't believe there is a low limit that can be reached in a naturally aspirated engine in the US. Extreme cold, like say -100F certainly creates a unique set of challenges, but are mostly unrelated to making horsepower in an internal combustion engine.

The computer doesn't continue optimizing ignition timing below a certain temperature, but cooler, denser air will still result in horsepower gains because the computer will maintain the A/F ratio and more air + more fuel = more power.

So worth it!! Even if I have to ONR it 3 times a week it's still worth it.

The haters are just mad that their beasts are sitting in a cold garage not taking advantage.

Can't relate to the love of salt (I understand the cold weather effect that goes with it). Lived with salted roads for a couple decades in upstate NY and it rotted every car piece it touched. I realize cars today are much more resistant and the "salt" is actually not as corrosive as it used to be due to changes in chemical makeup, etc.... but it still must be eating away at something. No way I'd drive my Camaro in that crap!

I don't think anyone is hating you for driving in the salt, but we do feel bad for your car.
