Any neckaches from driving your new Camaro

I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing neckaches after driving the Camaro. I am not talking about neck snapping from the acceleration but just normal driving.

I have had my car for just over a month and could not figure out why my neck hurt so I went to see my chiro and we discussed any changes. The Camaro was the only change. I find when I am driving I have to twist my head to look out the side window under the roof and I do a strange thing trying to look under the rear view mirror. I have played with the seat adjustment and if I set the seat to low I find myself looking up over the gauges which is more uncomfortable on the neck.

I just want to know if anybody else had this problem and what changes solved this problem.

Actually, and I'm not BSing you, I just found I have a herniated disc in my back and need surgery. It didn't really start hurting until I went from an '07 Infinity G35s to the 2010 Camaro. The Infinity has really good lumbar support and my 1LT has pretty much zero. I wonder if they might be related.

I sold a Sweet 2001 Mustang Cobra 5spd Manual because I could not twist in and out and it hurt too much to shift it after my neck surgery.

I am 100% better now a few years after surgery and bought my 2SS/RS 6M.

TRUST ME, it has nothing to do with the car and everything to do with bad timing and YOUR AGE or as my surgeon said "too many birthdays".

Let me guess your now in your mid to late 30's?

I turned 39 and my dang body fell apart but 6 years later all has been repaired and near 100% again. I was feeling like an old man but now feel 30ish again.

BTW stay away from the chiropractors especially if you have serious pain and go see a surgeon or seek physical therapy.

I don't have mine yet. But I do stop by the dealership and sit in there's once in a while. I was reading the post about the blind spots so yesterday I sat in the LT2/RS at Gus P in Utah. And yup I see that blind spot how is everyone working with that? My 99 was not like that and I guess its just something to get used to eventually right? Oh and I noticed that looking out the drivers window has the same blind spot its almost like you need one of those little mirrors put on the side view mirror...

Lol. Probably right. I'm 34. Agreed about chiropractors. I swear they really screwed my back up the one time I went. Couple days later went to my actual doctor, had MRI, talked to neurosurgeon and scheduled surgery. It's going to be a sad time after the surgery until I can drive my car. It's hard enough as it is driving a manual as my left foot is numb most the time. :(

Car seats can be bad for you just like an office chair etc. If you happen to be adjusting the seat in the car in such a way that it doesnt properly support things it could cause you issues.

A lot of people like to have their seat in a somewhat reclined position. This is bad for the back since you dont have enough vertical support (bumps etc make it worse) for the spine.

Good advice....my wife is a PT and goes on and on about chriros and what they do to people.

What I always ask people when they tell me how good their chiropractor is... "Really! So did he tell you when your final appointment with him is?"

Chiro's do some good but the neck snap is dangerous IMO. To much risk for something going wrong.

Go swimming in a pool and also little hot tub. Back and forth.

Your probably just stressed out with everything going on. I doubt the seats themself are causing it.

The only real way to see the disks is a MRI. Cat scan and xray are waste of electricity when it comes to disk issues.
Get a Cervical MRI scan of your spine. You probably have a mild bulge or degenerative disk disease.
