Chrome debadging 95% complete. Need opinion on front ZL1 emblem.

I have finally gotten rid of all the ugly chrome emblems on my car except for the front ZL1 emblem and I'm looking for some opinions on what would look good. I thought about having it colored matched to the car and I also thought about looking in to maybe a carbon fiber look emblem. What do u guys think?

Here's what the car looks like so far 95% chrome free.

contact emplempros and get them to make you a black and red one just like the back, I hear he is pretty awesome at this kind of stuff, he could probably get you all flat black replcement chrome pieces or black chrome pieces.

I dechromed mine before I even drove it off the dealer lot.

Exactly what I was thinking. I had them do a white painted with red for my White ZL1.
But reverse it so have it done Red with black 1 this way it will stand out against the black grill.

^ I like that but the ZL letters are too hidden for my taste.

Your right, you want the emblem reversed against the black grill so it matches your paint and stands out.

I had Lupe at River City Creations paint the front grill Z and L victory red to match my car and the number 1 black outlined in red. The trunk emblem is painted with the opposite color scheme. I debadged the the chrome Camaro letters from the front quarter panel and hood ZL1 emblems. I like the clean look it gives the car.

I think the black lettering looks good on red and white cars but for me ill keep my chrome. I just don't like that the emblems look different than the factory font.

Yes, That looks like something that came from the factory, by matching and reversing the actual colors.

Looks nice.

I like chrome, but some colors look just as good if not better without it.
My next cosmetic mod might be black diamond tips!!!!
