There is several threads on this. From what I remember you will need at least 650-700whp to get there, and a good set of tires.I am hoping to take mine in a week or two and I will post up what mine did. Just waiting for some cooler air.

yip what he said...I am in that area now and I can tell you, if you do not run some racing slicks, your car WILL NOT HOOK UP....I blow the tires off and it chops the power even in PTM 5. Best I can do on stock tires is 12.018 @ 120 MPH....I should be in the low 11's to the high 10's right now. My 60' time is 2.100 seconds....Needs to be a 1.8 or better.

A6 will run 10s with 600ish rwhp...M6 needs at least 80 more rwhp for similar e.t.'s...

You have got to have drag radials or slicks or you will never get out of the 11's. 11.4 was the best I ever ran on a street tire with a manual, that was at 835whp. Unless you are much better at working a clutch than me, I think a manual needs at least 700 wheel to get into the 10's. Either that or you have got to pull a lot of weight off of the car.

700 rwhp minimum. Likely more unless you have good DA.

I would recommend practicing with stock or near stock hp at the track. It's tricky to launch these and NLS is a must which also takes practice. I have a M6 and ran a best of 11.7 with a 1.7 60-ft on 20" DR's with LT's, CAI, ported TB and no tune.

On 91 octane I put out 686 rwhp and run consistant low 11's on 20" drag radials(11.000@131mph), if I want to break into the 10's I have to load my race gas tune and mount 17" slicks. 750rwhp on VP MS109 race gas, unless if screw up the launch or blow a shift it's pretty much a high 10 second run(10.80@130.89mph). DA is usually 3000 or higher so it might be easier at a better track.

As a data point, I've run a 11.73@122 with a 1.91 60ft. With 560 rwhp. DA was around 1500.
