PSI varies

i have a 2013 1SS/RS (not a daily driver) and i notice that the PSI varies from when the car sits and then once the tires get warmed up. My PSI while car is parked for a while in garage can all the way down to 30-32 PSI but as soon as i drive her it goes up to 35front and 36back is that normal - or should i not worry about it?

Yes....normal. Pressure increases as tire temp increases. Perfectly normal. Tire pressures should be checked cold. You can use nitrogen if you want and the pressure variance will be less....but either way....not a big deal.

Completely normal. When tires heat up the pressure goes up. This is why you must always go by the PSI when completely cold. PSI should be 36 cold. My sensors read 3 pounds low so I know I'm good if they are at 33 when cold.

The only thing you should worry about is that 30 PSI cold is too soft.

Inflate your cold tires to 36 PSI, early in the day, before the sun shines on them.

...........

PV=nRT

If volume stays the same, the moles and gas constant stay the same, and your temp goes up (friction creates heat...)...your PRESSURE goes up.

Wasn't this 9th grade physics?

Depends what tire you have......that is way to much for many.

I drive about 1500 miles a month and I inflate my tires cold to 38. The ride seems a little harsher but I only need to fill air every other month

Check the driver's door sill (lower rear) area for your car's correct pressure

PZeros are supposed to be 36 cold. I like mine about 1-2 lower than that in the warm weather because I found that at 36, they get too high and wear more in the center than evenly to the outside. Since lowering it, they are wearing more evenly when hot.
