Technique for pulling bumper out to install rear led markers?
Is there a certain technique to use when pulling your rear bumper cover out to install rear led side markers?
I don't want to damage the clips doing the install.

It all comes off in one piece. Just pull it straight back once you have it all loose.
I would not do this alone. The part is not heavy, but lining up the clips on reassembly is just better with two people. The clips can be broken. Two sets of eyes is best. The part is a little flimsy, so have a nice clean place to set it for your work. |

Lay a towel or blanket down so when you put the bumper down it wont get scratched...
I remember that you didn't have to pull the whole bumper off, just the inside fairing around the tire... I don't really remember and I was really drunk when I did it.

I didn't want to pull the bumper off. I just wanted to pull the part that's near the rear side marker out just enough to get to the rear marker. Is there a certain way to pop it out without damage to the clips?

Type in 2010 Camaro led side marker install. This should take you there.
