Pulled over doing 108 in a 65
So I got. Pulled over near Greensboro doing 108 in a 65 on rt 85. Got the ticket. Have to go to court. Can anyone help or tell me what I'm looking at far as fines or recommend a lawyer or any advice be great. My license is clean. No tickets before. I just moved to NC from NJ. Shuda just given my NJ license so the points wuda went on there. But too late now.

I've always wondered what happens in situations like this. I don't have any advice as I haven't been there before. What were the charges on the ticket? Just speeding or careless or wreckless?

That has to be wreckless...43 over..just go online and look for lawyer recommendations for that kind of ticket. Should be listed with reviews of how good they are. I think that best case scenario for this is pleading to a lessor charge and hope you catch the judge on a good day.

As others have said find a lawyer that specializes in traffic law. And use this as a learning experience and please slow down... There is really no need to be driving that fast...

The question I have is what were you doing going over 100 mph? Did you have a straight stretch in the road and it wasa brief jaunt or were you doing 108 mph for a long time.
