isnt it cheaper to just get your stock inserts and dash just taken apart and professionally painted?

Sorry people - not clear to me on the ambient lighting.

I have the ambient lighting currently 2ss/rs, I even did the DIY mod that lights up the front dash strips.
Anyway. does the kit come with the lighting included, or do you remove the existing and refit to the new? I've been looking at these for a while, and they look rather cool....

you reuse your ambiant lighting ,but it will make it look blueish/green

I ordered my yellow kit Sunday night and it was delivered on Wednesday. two business day delivery was awesome.

so here's what my new interior looks like on my Bumblebee car. I love it!

That looks absolutely stunning -- nice job. Let us know your thoughts on the Ambient Lighting....I modded the front inserts to glow at night that looks real nice. I would imagine the same mod wouldn't work as you need to sand the paint away...It may shine through the paint perhaps with the higher intensity light strips (I used the EL wire - mod is in one of threads here)

Def next purchase.....

I was told from the local dealership, it was backordered, however it came in about 15 days.

Looks like thats what I should have done was order it from the dealer. Seems like the others have received theirs in a few days. I wish they would have said in the ad that they were out of stock so I would not have ordered it. Not as much as an email either. Never again from GM Direct.

the lighting looks good. however, it is a green color seeing since the light is blue and the trim pieces are yellow. mix yellow and blue and you get green.

but it still looks awesome.

that's weird because like I said, I ordered from GM Parts Direct and the kit came within two days. I was surprised...
