Question hood alignment

Has anyone out there noticed there hood where it meets the nose is not even from the left and right sides? the drivers side slightly dips with a lip and the pass side is flat and even where it meets the start of the nose(front)? or is it just mine??

There is a rubber bump stop on each side, just turn whichever one in or out til you get it lined up. Just small amounts at a time.

There are also two torx headed screws one on each side of the latch on the radiator support. These will adjust the bumper cover up or down in the mail slot area. The hood stays stationary and the bumper cover is what adjusts up and down.

You don't need pics to see the little rubber bump stops...just open the hood, look down and you will see them. Make the adjustment in small increment at a time til you are happy with the alignment. Very easy, will take 1 minute.

Front is easy to adjust with the bump stops, its the hinge end of the hood thats harder.

Having done Hoods at GM. well more like managed guys who did hoods (can't take any credit for real work LOL), I can assure that it is as easy as the descriptions above and also that it is covered by your warranty if you so choose.

But what you would want to do is basically unsrew (counter clock wise) the bumper to raise the hood and screw it down (clockwise) to lower the hood. Just adjust it a little bit at a time and close the hood to check. Repeat until it fits the way you like.

Here's a 9 month old for you. I put in an LED scanner bar in my mailslot and couldn't figure out why my hood was now out of alignment. I figured out the rubber bumpers quick enough, but had no idea about the torx screws. I think you've solved my problem.
