Need exhaust mod bad!!!
I just got my car a few months ago and the silence is driving me crazy!!!
I have gone through some exhaust threads on here and have looked around on different vendor sites but am not sure at this point what to get. Can you all give me your opinion on some mufflers to install that will give me a deep sound and\ or not sound like a weed wacker. I am not going to do cat back right now due to money and the warranty, so mufflers it is for now. Also what is your take on a cut-out as well or just the cut-out instead of getting different mufflers. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

My dealership told me it would, hmmm. I don't think I will be happy with just mufflers, feel like I need everything to get the sound that I want on top of a little more hp. In that case, what do you suggest?

Know your rights, read up on the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act... here's a good overview... http://www.semasan.com/main/main.aspx?id=60128 Even with all my mods dealership has done warranty work without blinking an eye...

If your dealership says they will void your warranty over an exhaust, you need to find another dealership.
As for what you are looking for, I would get a Cat-back. I know Scrming and other swear by MRT. But I personally like MBRP on the V6. That's just my opinion. I would suggest you listen to sound clips and decide what you want from there. |

Thanks for the posts guys. After I read this, I noticed the thread to listen to all of the exhausts, so I will def be doing that. I wanted some opinions since you guys have already done that mod. Thanks.

Don't forget that Cherry Bomb V8 catback for $399. Mighty sweet sound. And the MRT. Both my favorites.

Some are putting shorty headers on there also.. Not a big HP gain but changes the sound of the exhaust. Something to ponder!!!

Take a look and listen for the Solo catback systems. Very clean deep sound for a V6. For a little extra get their high flow cats and your car will rock ! The install is easy and the cleanest of all I have seen !
