Just saw em install kits, run the dyno. Was strangely fascinating! Numbers in a day or two.

I didn't see it live, but you can watch the videos of the testing.

Thumbnail sketch...

Baseline with stock intake tested.
About 15 minutes later, CAI intake was tested.
About 30 minutes later the K&N was tested.
Another 30 minutes later Airaid was tested.
Then about 45 minutes later the Injen was tested.

Now we just have to wait a few days for the results.

I think they didn't want to just throw out numbers and have everybody on here taking them as gospel and then have the full report come out tomorrow and people questioning the preliminary numbers. I'm just glad they said all the intakes did well because I bought the K&N "blind" because I got a good deal on it.

Thank you for your input.

It take hours to compile the information and put it on a spread sheet so ALL can understand it from the Novis to the Professional.

I don't want to just blurt out numbers I want it in writing so nothing gets blown out of proportion and everyone can refer back to the spread sheet when there are questions or discussion either way.

You know how fast false info can spread on the internet.

Be patient it will be worth it.

Ted.

Naw I just meant panning over to the dyno after each run. No room for dispute there other than the obvious.

If they all perform the same, I'm seriously going to consider the Cold Air Inductions unit.

All of it's hardware is top mounted, which means easier to install/remove/replace. No hydrolock concerns either (my car is a DD and I live in the Northeast).

I watched JRE when they put it in, seemed like a breeze.

I really like the look of the Cold Air Inductions intake.

Kind've figured we wouldn't get the data just like that...want to be fair to each manufacturer and simply posting the dyno numbers wouldn't do it. Numbers + dyno sheets + installation and parts quality impressions is what I hope we get, and for that I'm willing to wait an extra day or two!
