Why is everyone complaining about the interior?

After driving around this weekend, it's like the interior was custom made for me. It's the most comfortable interior of any car I've ever owned. It's like riding in the cockpit of a custom made jet. My wife said the same thing riding shotgun with me this weekend.

So what gives. Why all the complaints about the interior?

I don't think people hate the seats and the way the car feels, the majority of interior complaints i've seen have been the passenger seat not being able move up, the basic material used for the dashboard, and the visibility the car has, but i was in a few today looking to buy one and i agree completely it's more comfortable than any car I've sat in and driven in.

People just bitch about the hard plastic, I'll admit it does seem clunked in there but I love the interior

my guess is that for whatever reason, people HAVE to find fault with something and they have chosen the interior. I can't imagine why, like you, I really love the interior and think that it is one of the best things about these great cars.

Everyone isn't complaining about the interior.
There are some things people don't like. The material, the trying too hard to recall the 69'. The height of the dash.

My only complaint is they didn't make the lighting go across the dash like in the photos.

I drive mine every day, so functionality has to be there as well as looking cool, and being comfortable. Looking cool get a 9. Comfort is a 8. Function is a 7. For almost 40 grand, I thought the function would be a little bit more on the awesome side.

My only complaint is that the dash is a little bland, specifically that gaping mass of nothingness the passenger gets to look at.
Of course, we only rented a 1LT, and aside from photos, I've yet to sit in a 2LT/SS with the acrylic paneling and 4 pack console gauges (which I'm sure do add to the car a good bit).

The interior makes me feel like I'm at work and play looking like the cockpit of an airplane. Plus it's very retro looking albeit the materials aren't the best, but great for a 30K muscle car.
