Ground effects painted or not???

Just ordered a 2011 black SS with ground effects and im trying to decide whether or not to have the dealer paint them glossy black to blend with the rest of the car. Or to leave them the flat blackish gray color they come as. I havnt seen what the contrast would look like if the the g effects were left unpainted so if anyone had a pic that would help my decision, or just give me ur opinion. Thanks

definitely paint them, if they came painted like GM should have, I would have them on mine.

paint them..... the dealer should charge about $500 for that and it will be worth it... if the dealer charges less please let me know so I can bargain better...LOL

I personally like the factory color GFX with cyber grey stripes but to each his own. I think they look good either way but the unpainted look is just cool to me

paint 'em... some dealers will even paint them for free if u buy them from the dealer.

Dont worry about paint chips, Im curious as to where people drive their cars cuz i drive out here in the desert where theres alot of crap blowing around the highways and A LOT of semi's and I have zero paint chips in the first 4000 miles on the car. yall need to get off the dirtroads
