Suggestion on hose filter?
Down where I am in Texas the water is pretty hard and on top of that the heat (even i the shade) just makes the water evap so fast. I have tried several different methods that people have suggested but I still get water spots, and with a black vehicle they really show up. What are some good water filtration systems people use? I'm not looking for something super fancy and expensive. Just something that gets the job done.

I'm a few hundred miles north of you north of Dallas and have been looking into this as well, but found nothing yet. Hopefully someone here will have a solution they can point us to.

The only thing that I know of is the CR Spotless Water Deionization System with a water softener in your house. These two should do the trick.

So this morning I got up early and washed the car starting at about 7am. Temp was about 85 and still reasonably humid. I found I had no evaporation and no spots. I think I'll be a morning car washer in the summer from now on.
