I'm looking to upgrade stock heads to GenX 255. Anyone have an opinion either way?

According to 3 Vendors they are junk. Probably want to look into WCCH.

I just read a thread regarding the 255's and Anthony at LG chimed in. I will not be getting them.

Heads are the last bolt on for me and my car is basically a weekend driver. I'd like the heads to compliment my other bolt ons (see sig). I realize the bang for the buck is not there, but that doesn't matter to me. Just want to install complimentary upgrades.

I've had WCCH heads and PRC heads. Both good choices!

I have PRC 255s and I love them. I agree with the others, either Advanced Induction, PRC, or WCCH.

If your staying NA consider milling the head a lil depending on your cam specs to bump compression a bit. Prc and TFS heads will allow you even more room for bumping compression due to their different valve angles. Compression = free hp/Tq

I am staying N/A and I'm contemplating swapping out my cam ((227/235 .614/.623 114+4) for a cam that will take the most advantage of which ever heads I decide on.

What are they saying makes them junk? The early stuff I saw on them the customers were quite pleased. I'm considering these heads myself and would like more info. Thanks

Call Martin at Tick or Brian Tooley racing and exploit the crap outta those heads.

I have them and i feel they worked great. 549 rwhp and 538 rwtq. The vendors that have had bad things to say about the heads do they sell these heads or is it we dont carry them so we dont reccommend them.

Are those N/A numbers? If so I want your formula. That's the kind of numbers I'm looking for.

Here is the thread with installer and vendor reviews.
Junk was a strong word but they have valve issues that I don't care for and when a installer only makes 19HP then pulls them off and bolts a set of ported stockers on and makes 30hp for way less money that is enough proof for me.
