lots of mods done and told tune is still ok no changes?

Maybe I'm being to critical but here is my concern. A base tune was done with no mods 8 months ago( mail-in tune, not dyno ). Now I have a CAI intake, Cold air scoop, ported throttle body GMPP mufflers and SOLO HFCs and 3:45 gears (SS diff swap) and was told my tune is good to go, no changes needed. Now I know of several friends with 2012 LFXs also with the same company that only did CAI intake and ported throttle body and their tunes needed updating. I am not trying to be an ass, I just want to protect my engine before I go for a full day of racing. The car feels good and my G-TECH Pro shows gains of .25 faster in ET & 4mph from my previous stock motor runs. So my mods have seemed to give some results. Now I want to take it to the track and see what the ETs are on motor BEFORE I spray with the mods. Yes I will send a datalog when I spray to check again for that tune to be correct before I do a whole day of on the bottle runs.
I'm just wanting to play it safe.

The gear change alone means the tune needs changing let alone all the airflow mods. Your tuner is an idiot. A shame you v6 guys are so limited in tune options.

Did you mention you had changed the gears because that for sure should have been changed.

He is a 2012, any shop with HP tuners and the latest Beta should be able to get him tuned up.

I know the gears need a change and my tuner told me that. I was just concerned about my A/F ratios, but I was told that part of it is OK. Thanks for feedback.

CAI is going to need a MAF cal refresh. The exhaust mods mean increased flow. Get a new tuner.
