Specific brand 3.91 gears?
Hey all,
Currently looking to install 3.91 gears in the camaro, and was wondering if there is a specific brand that is better than others, or if they are all the same. I've seen the GM 1LE online for like 20p bucks and was wondering if that will be good for ~700rwhp

I would go with GM spec 3.91 gears, heard about aftermarket ones breaking.

GM kit is great value for the money but if you want 700 rwhp you dont need that much gear stay with 323 or 342. You will need upgraded driveshaft rearend and axels if you start getting traction.
ZL1 pieces will work for normalish street use anything above that and you are going to need trans upgrade and after market pieces.
