I also remember plenty of people on this site commenting how their Camaro came alive after about 2500 to 3000 miles. Could have been the fuel table resetting.

all you have to do is send an e-mail to support and they will place the new beta on your login page and you can download it,, as long as you have the newer usb adapter/converter box

Ah, this is good to know. Now I'll have no worries when I get my Camaro

I wonder though, does this information invalidate the break-in method discussion that has been going on here? I would guess that it doesn't make that much of a difference now, with irpq11's car running better now (despite a gentle break-in.) I figure when I get mine I'd probably break it in a little easy, change the oil, pull the fuses for good measure, and then go nuts

LS3 owner here. Pulled the fuses last night, replaced this morning, reset all my MPG counters, and ran it this morning on my normal 45 mile commute to the D.C. area (Lots of stops and HUGE take offs). Verdict:

It works!

My car is MUCH 'peppier' today. Avg gas mileage increased (25 to 29). Excellent tip!

BTW, don't forget your FREE Papa John's pizza today!

LOL I 3/4 throttled my car from a dead stop this morning with T/C off....

Left a little strip of rubber. Enough of that for me... I'm satisfied

i will be trying the fuse pull, i have the ls3,it seems to be running pretty good, i have 2200 miles on her,but it idles rough at times and i just hav'nt felt that it is getting the milage that i think it should,i have not driven very hard much at all,i have been getting around 17 city and the best hwy.has been 21 and that is cruising at about 80..which seems better than cruising at 75,at 75 i have gotten like 20.6..of course that diff. could have been due to wind, dont know, but i have seen on this thread where some maro's are doing 25 and better...so i figure it wont hurt to try the fuse pull

I have an LS3 which I though was running great. But I thought, what the heck I might as well try pulling the fuses too. I pulled the fuses last night and put them back in this morning. The car is running even better today. I don't seem to have to push the gas pedal down as far to get it to accelerate fast. It really wants to accelerate faster now. I have about 1,100 miles on the car. I am sure it is not just psychological. I have not yet checked to see if the mpg is better.

So your travel route to work is little highway miles and mostly city miles? Just wondering how you "were" getting 25 mpg if you do not "baby" the car (accelerate slowly, limit top end speed, etc).

I only have 700 miles or so and still taking it easy on her since I am still in break in mode. The best mpg I have gotten so far is 23.5. I have about 50/50 highway/city travel. And I am really taking it easy on her, really easy!!

Will try the fuse mod as soon as I empty out this tank. I have not ran it below a quarter of a tank so there could still be some "dealership -87" in there.

Thanks!!
