Camaro: full circle
Featured on homepage
This was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I got a call today by my mother, and she said there's a Camaro at Joe Basil Chevrolet, in town here...so I head down there, asap -- and I pull in, and spot a beautiful silver 2SS with polished rims and black stripes. MSRP $35-somethin'. (It was right next to a black Corvette convertible, and I have to say -- I really do think the Camaro has more of a presence than the Vette. ) Anyways, the car JUST came in...it was no more than an hour between the call, and when I got there...by the time I pulled in -- the car was sold (with a $2500 markup) Another guy pulled in as I was standing there drooling, and he was in an identically-colored 1969 Z28. I almost fell over. He asked the new owner if he'd pull them up next to each other for pictures...and the guy was cool and said "yeah". There were at least 7 other people besides me with Cameras. These images are impressive...when you consider it's been 40 years between the the 1969 and it's design-inspired new sibling. The Camaro brand has come full circle and ready for another 40 years. Having not seen one in person for almost 4 months, now...this revisit reminded me just how much I HAVE to have this car. Enjoy! EDIT: When he turned it on to move it (LS3)...it was a heavenly serenade. Quieter, but better than the '09 Mustang, imo. |

Thank you
You made my day with these pics---good job. Both cars are gorgeous. Black and silver, my personal favorite. I think these pics show just how good design job the 2010 is. The 2010 walks the line between retro and modern right down the middle. Thanks again!!!
