V6 M6 transmission fluid change help

I'm trying to change the tranny fluid on my Aisin AY6. I already changed the oil and diff fluid and now looking at tranny. Anyone know where the fill plug is? Pictures would be helpful too. Thanks so much.

The Fill is on the Drivers Side of the transmission and may be obscured by a sensor connection to the tranny. The fill is the same size as the drain plug and is in the same plane as the fill. Just follow the tranny around past that connector and look above it not much more than half way up the side of the tranny.

I hope this helps!

Changing mine this weekend, was wondering how it worked out for you. Any issues? Bought 2 qts of Amsoil severe gear 75w-90 for the change.

FYI - Trans drain and fill plugs on the AY6 are 15/16" soc. hd. Funny thing I noticed after pulling them both out, only one had a magnet in it. Im guessing the drain on the bottom. Anyone else notice it?

SVG is very well used in the community and by many other communities that run high horsepower cars, i have a few 700 and 900 AWD HP cars that run it, in their Tranfer cases and rear diffs.

synthetics seem to give you a good deal, dont break down due to heat as quick, and gear protection and keeping everything clean.

Hi sorry to bring up old thread, I have a aisin ay6 gearbox, when I tried taking out the fill plug to put a additive in the box, oil just started pouring out. Does this mean it's over filled from the previous service? Or is there more than one filler plug higher up?
