I would have put it where the GM performance parts emblem used to be on the SS cars.

That's where I was going to put it. But I rather have it on the engine because he built the engine not the car

Will do, check the oil tubes where the go into the oil pan, I see some oil that has dripped down on the cross member. It has not dripped on to the floor. I can not tell if it is just oil that was there when they put the car together or a leak? I have it cleaned up and does not show signs of a leak. I will know in time.

Removed mine this morning, and like the looks of it much better

Did you see that in the OM? Curious as to where you seen that info. I think it looks much better as well.
