They said the starting price was 59K, but I wonder (and hope) if it includes everything they showed us and not as options (SRT Track Pack, Brembo Package, etc.).

Yessir, with the new cat, the 6th gen, the C7, and the new gt500 its gunna be a blast for 2016. Still too early for me to tell but this cat is calling my name loud so far. Yes I think at first the a.d.m will be 7k minimum but after a few months will drop to or below msrp at which point I'll be willing to talk.

Wow! That's an unbelievable price considering Dodge is known for high prices with the V8 cars!

Will see I have a dealership promising me one for MSRP. I believe August 8th is when they can start placing orders. It seems after many lost allot of money on the Viper dealerships are just looking to move inventory.

That's a great price. Hopefully this means that their other models also go down in price.

Even a base SRT comes pretty freaking loaded so congrats to Dodge for dropping the A bomb in the muscle car wars. 10's bone stock for 60k? Are you kidding me? I know fan boys will knock it for not posting good ring times or whatever but ironically most of the same people who say that sort of stuff have never tracked their car on a road course. If the car brakes and handles just decently it will probably turn out to be the best muscle car to date. 99% of all races happen in a straight line so it looks like the Hellcat will be king for at least 3 years. Got to give credit where it's due. I don't even want to think about what it could run with a true slick and a tune that disables all of the torque management and launch control.

It will take more than the Hellcat to pry my fingers off the suede steering wheel in the ZL1. Don't get me wrong, it's a helluva car for a helluva price and would be a buttload of fun to drive, but if I'd rather own a ZL1 than a Corvette, you can damn be sure I would keep my ZL1 over a Hellcat.

Probably just as interesting as the Hellcat price is the Scat Pak price with the 392 engine. It's only $38,500. A similarly equipped Camaro is $36,500. It might be a bad year for the Camaro.

Lots of people lose sight of this. All companies should have a "best" at some point, that's how competition works and our Camaro's get better! |

That 59k MSRP price includes the gas guzzler tax and the auto trans. That's pretty damn good...........

Not gonna lie, i'm going to take a look at one when they come out. Hopefully soon, GM has a lot of details out about the 2016 Camaro, with different option packages, and competitive price points to the Hellcat and whatever Ford is bringing out.
