Just want some mufflers!
So I just want 2 Borla Atak mufflers for my ride, just for sound. I may do headers down the line and since I have the NPP exhaust I want to keep the piping as is for now. Problem is I cant find just the mufflers that have the single inlet and dual outlets so the tips can be welded back on? Anyone have any info on this?

The NPP exhaust system is really good, if I had it, I would just keep it the way it is

I agree with Chris49066SS. If you want louder, pull the fuse that controls the flaps in the NPP. NPP with long tube headers is a heavenly sound, IMO.

Did pull the fuse and it sounds good but I do think it can be better hence the question. I do want to keep the piping because in the event I do headers I have heard how many people like the npp with headers. As it stands it just doesn’t have as throaty a note as I’d like

You could always go a flowmaster or hooker blackheart (quad tips) axle back setup for now and then swap back to your NPP when you do headers. Just a thought. I have the NPP on my '14 and i love the sound with the fuse pull ( i do wish it had a bit deeper tone). Im also planning for some long tube headers and a tune in the near future once im done our house reno's.

If cost is the concern for you, check out Speed Engineering. They're a budget header that is a forum favorite. If you need cats to pass emissions though, I'd recommend Texas Speed, OBX, or Stainless Power unless you're like me and want to buy American and then go with Kooks, ARH, or Stainless Works.

Another one here to agree with starting at the front.
Want to save money, headache, and time? Start at the front like previously advised. Many of us were too stubborn to listen and have been through multiple exhausts and thousands of dollars, myself included.

With that said, i agree with the other guys and keep the entire NPP catback intact, do the fusepull, and get long tube headers first. That will give you a good starting baseline for sound and you'll free up some good power he sells higher end quality headers: ARH, Dynatech, Kooks, Stainless Power

I just did LTH's and now have 3" pipes all the way back to my stock NPP mufflers, I love the sound now.
