something else for the vert fans out there,in the g.m. parts catalog, there is a maroon top listed, not yet available of coarse but sounds like somewhere down the line there will be an option for a maroon conv.top,

I found something related to this in the January issue of Motor Trend. It says the 2014 Camaro, ATS, and CTS will be on the new Alpha platform. It goes on to say the Alpha is flexible enough to handle a larger than CTS chevrolet performance sedan. I'm guessing this could be the Impala that would share parts with the Camaro.

P.S. As for the new V6, I don't understand why they are putting effort into making it E85 approved. I would have thought a LS and LT standard turbo DI 4 banger with about 250 hp would be the next step with the current V6 becoming a option.

Wow.

All these changes going n.

I wouldnt be surprised if the v8 got some changes as well. We already know a suspension option is available.

Looks like GM wants to win in 2012....

I think the best news of all this tidbit is that the ecm is changing from a bosch unit to a delphi unit which will now more easily be tuned from a tuners standpoint especially for power adders such as superchargers and turbo's.

With 330hp my guess is this will go in to the Silverado also.

And a 2012 Camaro with this motor and the FE4 suspension option would be a blast on the twisties.

HP isn't as important as torque in trucks...that being said the only V6 I ever want to see in a Silverado is a Diesel.
