With 2013 ZL1s starting production in June...

How soon do you think we can expect the 14 ZL1?

Are the 13s being produced this year Coupe or Convertable only?

I'm curious as I plan on buying my ZL1 next Spring/Summer and I wonder if by than they will be releasing a 14 model hopefully with some new interior/exterior color options and slightly increased horsepower so this thing can compete better in the straight line.

But if you wait til '14 model year, you may as well wait to summer of '15 for the next gen. Then if you wait for '15, you might want to wait for '16 as they may have more power or different options.

It's a never ending chain, IMO just buy what you want when you can and enjoy it?

Yeah well see than looks like Ill be looking at getting a 14 next Spring/Summer with that said hopefully it includes new options and some upgrades preferably in the horsepower area.

But the one poster brings up a valid point right now given I'm planning on getting a new car next Spring I'm stuck with getting a final year model on both the ZL1 and GT500 which is kind of a let down but oh well...

Don't expect any changes to the car, beyond the addition of convertibles to the lineup.

I wouldn't count on it. The 2011 Camaros began in early summer of 2010. The 2012 Camaros began in early summer of 2011. The 2013 Camaros will begin in early 2012. Why would they switch to 2014's after building 2013s for only 6 or 7 months?
