Non RS to RS headlights don't work the same as RS?

Just installed RS headlights in my 2LT. Come to find out that they don't work the same way the RS does. When I try to turn the halo's the parking lights come on with them. A friend of mine was a RS and he can run his halo's all by themselves .... What up with that?? I am running offer's harness.

Like we told you its the BCM the program is not the same for the RS sand non RS cars, but if you want to cut 2 wires(in the new harness) we can make it so the halo is all was on with the car running.

Sorry Ofer.. When I was talking with you yesterday we were working on my car and trying to understand what you were saying. I forgot some of the things you were saying. I got is now.. Thanks.

Now I have to figure out how I want then to Run.. Halo's on all the time when car is on ...or halo's with parking lights on.
Anyone that converted. How do you have Yours Running?????

Ofer built a harness for the wife that has a switch to cut halos on/off at her choosing. The Fogs are now the drl's. Only time parking lites are on is when shw cuts headlites on....

So the switch turns on the halo's only, with no other lights coming on?

I had Ofer build a custom harness for me that fixed all the issues I was having with the AAC HID headlights and the POS harness they included with their kit.

In the daytime, my halos are on along with my fog lights (13w LED's), no marker lights, at night the halos are off by default but all I need to do is push the fog light button and my HID's, halos and fogs are all on.

Can't say enough good things about Ofer and the work he does and how helpful he's been

I had him build me a custom one that should get here tomorrow... my ZL1 fogs and stock fogs are my DRL + halos always on. At night the HIDS come on, and if I turn the switch to the left everything but the halos go off.

Not sure what pressing the button or turning it to the right will do.

What the OP really wanted to know is .- we are working on his car together ..
is there any way to Not have his Amber turn signal / parking lights on all the time in the grille ?? On the Non-RS cars they stay on where as the RS Cars they only come on as turn signals.
No matter what position the inside head light switch is in his Amber lights are on . This is a BCM issue not a harness issue ..right ?

My car is a non-RS car and with the harness that Ofer built for me, only my fog lights and halos are on during the daytime.......none of the marker lights come on during the day.

Thanks For your reply . Looks like a harness update is needed to turn them off . Doesn't look bad with them on but at night with the ZL1 bumper ( 2 )lights plus grille lights and halos and headlights it's a lot !

Yup, just clip one of the inner wires on the bulbs.

As you can see, the fogs are the drl's. The halos can be cut on/off independently. There are no other lights on...
