Yeah.... This doesnt look suspicious

Most of the body panels for sale from a Camaro. I could see if the car were totaled. But at least one of these parts would need to be damaged. Even if it was T-Boned, the rockers would be damaged.

Maybe an Acme anvil was dropped on the roof Wile E Coyote style.

flood or internal fire? trans am conversion? wide body? does seem an odd-lot to have!

eek, they put paint side down on the concrete... so, the fenders and rockers are now scratched up. buyer beware!

It says on the bottom of the ad that all panels were replaced by an aftermarket body kit. Try reading the whole ad next time.

Yep, concrete will tear up a painted surface for sure. I replaced the rear bumper on my wifes 2011 equinox after one corner got pushed in. I sat the old bumper down on the garage floor and i was surprised at how much it got scratched up! At least it didnt matter since it was already damaged.

I guess just because its said on the internet its true.

I have a bridge for sale, you interested?

Plus, the listing is where some Camaros were recently stolen.

http://www.contracostatimes.com/brea...sburg-found-at

And in an area that is seeing dozens of Camaro thefts a month.

If I was selling parts from stolen cars, I dont think I'd say I removed the parts because I recently stole a Camaro, stripped it and now I'm selling its stolen parts. I think I'd make something up to make it sound more believable. I guess saying that I just installed a body kit would work.

Those are the commonly replaced body parts. If someone goes to buy any parts they should just ask to see the Camaro...
He could've added SS, ZL1 fascia or something, or refresh on the fascias with ZL1 rockers. The fenders are commonly replaced with the ones with built in vents, and they also sell CF versions by Seibon and others. Doesn't seem to sketchy, they don't look broken at least.

Everythings sketchy on CL true, but if you go in person and look at the parts you can still tell if somethings up.

Sorry I'm not keeping up with what's going on with Camaros in Pittsburg, but I think you could give the guy the benefit of the doubt. Accusing someone of chopping a car and selling doesn't make it true, it is the internet remember.

No, not everything on the internet is true, so lets go ahead and make up an endless line of BS instead....

Putting a body kit on a Camaro sounds way more probable that any of the BS you guys came up with....

Most people who sell stolen car parts don't post that many parts in one ad. Sure there is an idiot for every folly I know.

You would find out if you talked to him though, instead of slamming a guy you know nothing about.

or maybe he's broke and he just needs money, so he had to sacrifice the fenders... Now his poor Camaro cruises around in the nude, with no fenders..
