Roto-fab CAI pic!

We've had lots of interest in the V6 market, so we bought a V6 car and we've been working on the CAI. Here is a sneak peak at our first working prototype. We just finished the MAF housing today and took our first drive this afternoon. No dyno numbers yet, but it feels and sounds awesome! We may need back tires sooner than expected! We will try to get a video up on youtube tomorrow

Looks good. Just can't see where your getting the cold air from though. Only CAI for this V6 that has any real proven HP gains is the Injen CAI and it gets its cold air from underneath the car. Would defintely like to see some true Dyno numbers.

This is the duct just behind your grill on the left side. It's the duct that feeds air to your stock system. Our air wall is situated so the duct feeds air directly into our air box. We placed a thermocouple directly on top of the air filter to monitor actual air intake temps at the filter. While moving 3 MPH our intake temps at the filter are exactly the same as ambient.
We see about +12HP with our G8 V6 CAI which is a very similar set-up.

Looks nice...but as always we want data. Theres been some very large CAI debates here before about not just dyno results, but Air to Fuel ratio readings while on the dyno..so if you can get and post both of them when you are ready, please do that! Thanks!

Ha Ha. We will have a radiator cover as well. We also have some good ideas for a custom engine cover so leave some room on that card!
