Me neither. Before I bought the Boss, I test drove a Mustang GT and a Camaro SS. Six of one, half dozen of the other, but overall the driving thrill favoured the Mustang. In the mean time I considered a Shelby, and a few other cars but ended up with yet another Bimmer as my DD, a 335i Coupe with Sport Package. Slower yes, but more fun to drive overall. However, when the Boss was announced I knew I had to have it. Similarly, the ZL1 is the true enthusiast version of the Camaro. There's nothing wrong with the base Camaro, and it's a great looking car but it was, IMHO, lacking the gotta have it appeal, well at least for a car guy. Chevy guys I hope would obviously disagree. In any case the ZL1 and 1LE seem to have more than the fanboys covered. Can't wait to see what Chevy has up its sleeve for '14.

Regardless - I'm all about seeing CAMARO on TV, so I'm eager to watch this one. Maybe I'll buy the DVD, too

FWIW - ZL1 was previewed on Motorweek, too. I posted that information in another Thread. It's not on-line yet, but you might catch a rerun

Thanks for the heads-up on Gears!!!

Must see this, Motorweek does a great job when they review Camaros!! What channel did the preview come on

Good or bad reviews, I don't pay much attention to them televised car reviews. When the SS came out.....they said heavy, soft, terrible blind spots, blah blah blah blah To me, they all have bias and I don't let some guy on TV or magazine influence what I like and how to spend my wife's money.

The only one's I've found are on PBS and Velocity. But my DirecTV isn't showing any of this particular episode it seems, going to try to get it on the net.

I thought it was on speed.

I stopped watching motorweek because it was very vanilla and polite with all the cars. It put me to sleep. Nothing like R&T or car and driver's writing.

While I really like his shows - I don't necessarily always agree with his taste in cars His tech' is great and though he bashed pretty hard, it's not like the aftermarket doesn't have anything available to help improve it - BOTH cars

It's a good review. I plan on buying it just to have in the future The Motorweek review was really good, too, which I'll also buy
