Great day at work today!

Got my annual merit raise notice and got enough of a bump, after taxes, that it'll cover the cost of monthly payments for my new Camaro without touching my current budget. And if I can average 21 mpg, I'll save enough over what I'm paying in gas for my 13mpg truck to cover the insurance payment too!

Woohoo!! Waiting on the details to be released later this month so I can start planning on what I want to buy in the spring.

Back to work...need to actually earn that money now.

a couple of weeks ago that I've got one coming too and it should also put me in a position to afford the Camaro without affecting my current budget. But I'm going to save up a nice stash for and put a sizeable down payment on it, then sale the Malibu to cover some aftermarket toys! Hopefully by then the gen v engines are out.

VERY nice! I get my next BIG raise June 5th. Yep...long way off.

But, it will cover the insurance, gas, AND cost of the Camaro all in one month!

Got my huge raise a couple of months ago. I opened up a special Camaro account and all that extra goes into it along with all my overtime money. And from the looks of the work load, there will be a lot of OT the rest of the year.

Good idea Txturbo. I think I'll set up a second savings account to divert the extra income into until I need it next spring. That'll help keep me from spending it between now and then.
