We finally got enough miles on the Charger SRT8 shop car this weekend and decided to dyno it. The numbers and video are below, and are pretty good honestly. The car does run a but rich from the factory as most cars do.

2011 they redesigned the Charger. 2012 is the first year of the SRT8 for the new generation. These run 12.8's from the factory.

Great numbers! I expected as much from the Charger SRT-8.

Man this car is really shaping up great to me. I am seriously considering one for next year. By then my Camaro and Regal will be paid off. I wanted a G8 GXP, but those things are hard to find. I test drove a Taurus SHO and it was nice, but I would prefer the RWD V8 of the Charger.

exactly what i would expect from a 392. no "HERO" 430rwhp like some post. i guess this one makes 470hp just like the factory spec says.

those are great numbers for a stock car.what does that thing weigh?in the pictures they look heavy.

I had an '06 RT, and the newer design looks great IMO, especially the tailights. I wish the SRT was available in AWD like the RT.

If an automatic transmission car loses about 18% power to the wheels, than 470 hp would be about 385 rwhp. Thats putting down 410-415, which woulld mean its more like 500hp at the crank, right?
