Low 12's with just bolt ons??

So I bought this magazine the other day called CamaroNow and theres a couple pages where they show a build on a L99.It basicly has Kooks long tube headers, underdrive pulley, cai intake with adm scoop, lsr trailing arms and toe links, adm transmission cooler, torque converter, tune ,and a pair of nitto drag radials on the back with stock rims. And the car ran a killer 12.37@112. I find that hard to believe since there's a bunch of guys running mid or high 12s with superchargers.

if you have a stall, DRs, and headers and AREN'T running low 12s... you're doing something WRONG... terribly, as in go home, lol

Getting pretty common to see high 11s with the right setup!

Heck, I was doing low 12's with that formula two months after I bought the car in Feb. 2011.

The reason you see boosted cars still running 12's is because they left out one important element of the formula: the driver mod.

That's funny. Pretty sure that's PSJ's car, and he's a member on this forum!

But yeah, it never happened.

My 2012 ss I have lt headers, hfc and xpipe , cai, tune and tranny tune, vmaxx tb l99 delete, it runs 12.3 to 12.4 at 114-115mph on radials . If I was to put drag radials or something stickier, maybe lower times are possible.

Hehe, yeah that's my car. I'm an occasional freelancer for Camaro Now and GMHTP. But in the recent article went 12.20@111 1.6 at press and have since gone 12.13@112 1.7 still bolt-ons. Hopefully (fingers crossed) 11.99 this weekend.

Don't forget the unbolt on's. Taking weight out the car helps a lot!
