I am thinking we should all get together here at Shno's House about 8 EST on Christmas eve for a toast. The gathering would be virtual, but the sentiment and drinks would be real.

Christmas Eve dinner for a small gathering of only a dozen...pork tenderloin, Cornish game hens, NY strips, nig-nog with rum-ah-dum-dum and nutmeg, home-made English trifle (spiked), and no doubt some tasty treats bein' held back as secrets... Reminds me of "What's for dinner, Grandpa?!" from the old Hew Haw show...

Now, if on-line access is available at the annointed hour, I'll be holdin' a libation of stellar effect. And, if "access denied", know I'm holdin'/sippin' it ANYWAY!

I agree, that is a great pic....., hey...speaking of Christmas Eve. In my town I am listening to fire trucks driving around, lights flashing, sirens and horns wailing in a caravan driving through the nieghborhoods with Santa sitting on top of one of the rigs. That's a cool Christmas ritual that child or adult still finds fascinating. How about you guys, what's it like in your town with Christmas Eve and any special events?
